Location and surroundings

Vorarlberg

the westernmost of Austria’s nine federal states with borders with Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein. Munich, Zurich and Innsbruck are close by. Lake Constance, the Montafon valley, Lech and Zürs am Arlberg – the holiday destination of many royal families, the Brandnertal valley… home to dynamic, hospitable people who are down-to-earth and cosmopolitan. This is where Red Bull, Milka chocolate and almost all ski lifts and cable railways in the world are created – and environmentally friendly tourism is booming.
